    Revlimiter Gauges

Ever since the first time I saw Adam's custom gauges I wanted some. Well, my brother got me a set for Christmas. I installed them today and was quite happy.

The gauges I got were the Version Warbird with red backlighting. They can be found here. http://revlimiter.net/blog/2012/11/warbird/

I am really impressed with the workmanship of these gauges. They look amazing. The write up on the website is also very thorough. My car is red so I thought the red backlighting would compliment the car nicely. I also got some LED lighting. It is very bright. Here are some pictures, including the stock tach for the difference in color:

The fuel gauge is my favorite

One thing that I had a bit of trouble with was getting the needle stoppers back into place. I don't think I shaved off the glue so the base was flat enough, and I got some excess glue on the oil gauge. Not too noticeable, but of course I see it. The tach went a bit better, but the needle is a bit off. Overall, I am very pleased with the results. Thanks Adam and thanks to my brother for getting them for me.

Thanks for the replies everyone. The whole process from start to finish took about 3 hours, maybe. It may have been a bit less, I broke it up and had dinner and some family time in between working on it. Everything was very straight forward and there were no real snags that I was stuck on for any length of time.
