    Question NA Transmission Swap

I do quite a bit of highway miles, and was wondering if anyone has pulled off a 6speed trans swap? I don't want to lose acceleration, but would like to cruise at lower rpm's. Any thoughts out there? Thanks

This will help you determine what your motor will spin at with a 6sp and whichever gear set your differential is:

Thanks, I saw that site a while ago. That's what gave me the thought when I was spinning 4000 rpm on the highway. More top end ain't bad either, heh?

Well, you have to be careful. With a 4.10, you may find yourself shifting more at lower speeds.

Sooo maybe a 3.9 or 3.6 rear end would be the better way to go.
