    Nb diff question.

So I cant seem to find a solid answer but does anyone know what kind of the JDM nbs (both 1.6 and 1.8 models) carried lsds?

And do any of them even have an open lsd?

    Thanks a bunch

Can't speak for the JDM market. Pfunk might know. He lives there too.

Open rear LSD ??? That would be an oxymoron, I believe.

Yep, we have LSD diffs here, depending on which model you have: http://www.carsensor.net/catalog/mazda/roadster/F002/

For example, if you look at this one, you can see the full specs for the VS NB2: http://www.carsensor.net/catalog/maz...008/equipment/

Thanks a bunch dude, I see plenty of Miatas out here in the yards but I don't want to pay iti-man just to pull the damn thing to find out it's open. The link is baller, but it doesn't describe which ones came with which diffs.

Yep, just gotta go through the models and you'll see which have LSD--I know the VS 1.8s do for sure, as I have one but beyond that you should be able to look 'em up easily enough on that site. Great for all cars, not just Miatas. Are you looking for OEM diffs?

Yep, I'm planning on raping every single NA/NB in Oki junkyards and scrap yards for their diffs and selling them to the states. It's easy money.

I wish I could do it for hard tops, but I can't ship those.

Also snagging a few other rare parts whenever they pop up, but FDs are easier to find and easier to sell their parts.

When in doubt, just remove the fill plug and look inside..you can see the funky gear setup thru the hole...
