clunk when I shut off engine

As my engine is dying it shakes just a little. I sometimes hear a couple little clunk sounds when this happens.

Bad motor mounts? Any other ideas?

My guess would be engine mount as well, especially if they're original from 1991. If you can grab the top of your motor and shake it side to side with noticeable travel, you need new mounts.

I say mounts too. Look at your exhaust hangers too.
