    Just my $.02.

I agree a PnP ECU is a must have. Piggybacks and other items are kludges and make a turbo on these cars a bit of a headache. Map sharing helps alot when trying to figure stuff out, too. Also, with a PnP like a Megasquirt, you can add COP ignition, which is a huge upgrade over the stock Miata system.

There are a large number of Miata tuner specialists. The top three that pop into my mind are Flying Miata, BEGi, and TrackSpeed Engineering. Miataturbo.net is valuable resource, but the members can be caustic. There is more technical data and info there than you can shake a stick at, but you have to have thick skin to post over there.

The '94 is considered one of the best to turbocharge; OBD1, 7" LSD, 1.8 BP, solid chassis. Both the 1.6 (b6) and 1.8 (bp) motors were originally designed and engineered as turbo motors. They are essentially detuned versions in the Miata. Oil squirters under the pistons help a lot. Your engine should have an oil port capped off on the drivers side down near the firewall.

A turbo miata is enormously entertaining to drive, but you have to set goals or you will start breaking stuff. The chassis can take it.

Easy button is an FM2 kit, Megasquirt, ID1000s, and an FM clutch.

    Done.

I'm pushing 200rwhp @ 8psi. Stock internals, 3" exhaust, Walboro 255, '01 Miata injectors (different spray pattern from tan tops), 2.5" intercooler plumbing, Voodoo Box fuel management piggy back, and a Bipes ACU piggy back.
Don't cheap out on anything. Do it right, skip all the piggy back sh*t and get a stand alone ECU.

I don't know of any Miata specialty places in Tampa but ISC racing is not that far away and they know Megasquirt and Miatas very well. I would probably use them to make sure it was done right the first time.

I just fixed my car, so I'll be looking.to put it on a dyno. I'm going to talk to my older brother here in the next couple of days. He'll be the guy to know a good trust worthy dyno place. I'll let you know when I know.
