    Help died in road. Raining.

So I was driving down the road and it died pulling out into the street. Its raining pretty heavily here and I had driven through a puddle about 1/4 mile ago. Maybe 3 inches deep. Splash pan is on. Tried restarting it and nothing happened the first time. 5 minutes later it turned over and starts right away then dies 10 seconds later. Now it turns with the started, shakes quite a bit but doesn't fire.

Any thoughts? I'm in a parking lot I rolled to waiting on AAA.

Tried starting it one last time and it stayed on this time. Drove it home. I'm guessing something got wet. Any ideas what? Should I be worried?

Wife did the same thing with her 10ae when TS Andrea came through. It ran VERY rough. It was the Crank Position Sensor. Hook it to an OBD2 scanner, pull the codes, clear, wait for them to come back. Hers threw a ton of codes at first, but the CPS code came back.

Try pulling the plug wires and drying them off.

Ran flawlessly today. Only code stored when I took it by advance auto was a cat below threshold that has been there for a while. Plugs and wires were dry.
