Eh, that's not for me. It's a little too much. I only like black interiors in red cars.

Thanks! It sure does haha. I plan to keep it simple, clean and hopefully reliable. All my previous cars were gold or silver, so it'll definitely take some getting used to.

Moving right along... I changed the oil today and added some Lucas to help with the lifter tick after startup. It seems to have quieted down.

My Harddog M2 Sport also arrived today

Safety first! I'll get some SFI padding for it prior to installing it. Also, my replica R-Lip should be here next week I hope.

Looks really good! How would you say it handles compared to your NB? I have yet to drive a properly maintained NA with any sort of vigor.

Thanks! It definitely handles better considering I have Racelands on the NB

Nice pickup man. Just curious. Do you still have that mangled front lip on the NB?

Did a few small things this weekend. I installed the r-lip rep from eBay. Fitment isn't perfect, but it was $57 so I can't complain.

Adjusted to the headlights to get em close to level.

Removed the charcoal canister and put the NB strut bar on the NA. I'll probably end up painting the bar black when we take it out to swap the suspension.

Also brought over the GarageStar shift extender and MoonEyes shift knob from the NB. Idk if I'll keep the extender on there or not. I like the feel of it, but idk if it really will fit the theme I'm going for.

So a lot happened the past few days. blu92, ChrisJuliano, and Subie_Greg showed up to hang out before MATG and help with the installs... even tho they ended up doing most of the work since I had to work It would not have gotten done without them.

This being an older car, we ran into a few issues... It was a nightmare. This bolt wouldn't budge, rear top shock nuts got stripped, etc.

But on a better note, I got the tires put on today and everything bolted together!

I put the Lotus seats in for the time being. I'm not thrilled about the red on red, but they'll hold me well for MATG! I ran out of time to paint the wheels with all the issues popping up, so they'll remain "chipped bronze" for the next week or so

I'm holding off on mods for a little while now, and I'm gonna do them one at a time. I want to take the time to really get a feel for each new thing. Granted, I don't have really crazy plans for this build but I'm gonna be doing a lot more research and less second guessing/do overs.

How do you like the 1.6 vs the 1.8 in your NB?
