These Moss lo-pros are great with the standard H9 halogens, but I just ordered H9 LEDs for mine. I can't wait to see how well they shine.

These are a part I wanted for YEARS and YEARS, but Moss kept bumping the price. I finally got some used ones and was less than impressed despite all the great reviews people gave. The light pattern is ok, but in my experience

-despite the buckets being heavy steel, they are flimsy
-the buckets and hardware rust easily
-the wiring is total crap. They can't even be bothered to include connectors for the bulbs. At the price, there should be weather proof PNP connectors with relays.
    - they are really hard to adjust
    - the mounting for the headlight lids could have been way better.
    - the sliding mechanism is noisy and could potentially cause wobble

I'm curious if others had the same thoughts about them.
Just another cracka azz cracka with an Old Beat up '97

Thanks for sharing your observations Stealth97. At the time of posting the pic I didn't give them more than a cursory glance and apart from being very dusty and a bit dirty, the only issue I spotted was the corroded hardware (nuts & bolts) and that a mount bracket was slightly bent.

Following your post I thought I'd take a closer look and must say I'm quite happy with what I saw. My take on it is that the metal is heavy gauge for the application and the construction is robust and well finished. The wiring appeared in good condition with plugs intact. Nuts and bolts are corroded but a few $$$ will sort that out with stainless. Of course I can't comment on fitting or actual lighting performance as they're not on the car yet, but I'll update once I get to that. The quad light mod is pretty simple and likely a good path.

    FWIW, mine are I.L. Motorsports.
