    My car is called Rosso for short. It's named after Porco Rosso, the main character from my favorite Miyazaki movie. (That's a boy's name I guess, but screw convention, my car has no sex. It's a car.)

    I'm an animator by trade, so as such, I gravitate toward inspiration from animation. Porco Rosso's a pig who pilots a red airplane. To me, he represents freedom, and contradictory impossibility (flying pig).

    Porco happens to by favorite Ghibli movie also.

    It's such a shame the film is so terribly underrated. It makes me glad to see there's somebody else out there that appreciates it at least half as much as I do.
