oh, sexy. What's the cost between the 2 ($415 for aluminum), and are they serviceable?
I need to buy a custom driveshaft but that will be after I install the new transmission I plan for my car
I loved that my 370Z came with a carbon driveshaft from the factory. These above are too nice. I'd be happy with either.
No todo que es oro brilla.
8# is quite light. The 949 balanced steel DS is 13#, the same as the aluminum V8 one here, but 5# less is impressive. A few companies working with CF shafts have mentioned how critical the bond between the shaft and u-joint end is, with some claiming you must have a scored end, others claiming a smooth end. The Nissan OEM piece is smooth, for example. What is the V8 approach?
Are these more robust than your control arms?
These shafts are for the conversions and weigh a little more than that of a OEM replacement. We do also make them for stock drive lines. All with serviceable joints.
Carbon shafts start at $875. The bonding depends on the type and size of the carbon tube. Smaller diameter shafts are straight flange and the larger ribbed.
Zero issues with the shafts and we cover them just like the control arms. Any issues give us a call or shoot me a email and we'll take care of it.

I've no complaints with my full set of arms from V8R--several years on them at this point. I've a 949 DS on the car at this point but would have no hesitation going with the V8R offering in future. What's the weight on an OEM-replacement, CF?
