    Mazdaspeed Shock Tower Brace

    IMG_1734.JPGIMG_1735.jpg

I have been in the market on and off for a STB. Preferably the OEM NB STB or the FM bar. Basically was only hoping to spend approx $150 on a STB.

A local enthusiast has this Mazdaspeed STB that he is looking to get rid of. He said another forum valued the bar at $200-250.

I did some forum searching and haven't come up with anything. (ill admit my search skills suck but I tried everything I could think of, and I hate scrolling through every thread that matches STB/Shock tower brace etc)

This bar has the polished cross bar and the gold feet attachments. Looks like it may need a good cleaning and polishing. Has the riveted Mazdaspeed plate on the bar. Hopefully the pictars work.

So what is it worth? any one able to help?

    thanks!

    Paul B

$150 - $200 depending on condition and buyers desire. I've seen them listed at $250 but I don't see them sell at that price.

    thank you, I appreciate it.

Now would it be sacrilege to change the color of the foot plates with some spray paint?

As long as it is yours, you can do as you like. It would effect future resale value though. The gold feet really look nice in an engine bay.

Agreed, it will sell for $150 to $250 depends on condition, Does it still have the part number stamped on it? I can look it up in my old Mazdaspeed catalog for what it cost when new if that helps?
