    From Florida

Actually from Southern Florida, the land of swamps, heat, humidity and starving mosquitos (don't forget the Lovebugs!!!).
With absolutely no experience in Miatas, nor Mazdas, I bought a 1990 Miata in fairly good shape. The engine and transmission are perfect. The suspension just OK. I had to install new bushings and rear shock absorbers. Now it runs OK, except that the two rear wheels are bent a little bit and vibrate ugly at 37 mph. Taking them today to a place that fixes rims. Will see how that goes, otherwise will have to buy a set of new wheels.

welcome. I'm new as well to Miatas. This seems like a good group to interact with and learn from.

Thank you for the welcome to all.
Took the car to Rimfx in West Palm. Got a phone call from them saying that the rims were extremely bent and it was going to be $150.00 per rim to fix. Wow, that was more money than buying new rims at RimTracks. Too bad I didn't get to read these entries until today, because inmediately after getting the call from Rimfx, I order a set of rims. I should have been more patient. Sorry.

Welcome to your site! You are in the perfect state for owning a Miata (minus the twisty hilly roads of New Hampshire). There are LOTS of Miata owners down there in the Sunshine State. Let us know if you have any questions.
