I wish my Miata didn't have the following: Airbags, leather seats and power windows.

No real local support. Alternator output control SUCKS. Idle control SUCKS. Paying $275 for a replacement wideband sensor SUCKS.

Two of those 4 things are supposed to be fixed with 2.7, but also: Paying out the ass for software upgrades SUCKS.

Fact: I would NOT have bought this car if i had bothered to do more research about Hydra and how people like it beyond being told by a reputable vendor that "Oh no big deal it'll run and drive better than stock you'll never have to mess with it." Head over to Miataturbo.net and you'll find that the general consensus is that Hydra is a joke. An expensive joke. Don't get me wrong, it's ridiculously powerful, but it's overcomplicated, quirky, and your only real support is via a phone call halfway across the country.

+1 on rattles. I have one. Only one. I usually have zero. But my back driver's suspension area is rattling. I've been trying to fix it for 2 months now and can't.

Bikini top season is coming. Then I won't be able to hear it.

The noises. Both of my miatas have them. The msm has a humm when I turn left and a rattling in the exhaust somewhere and one in the fmic. The na makes so many noises that some mornings in the winter I want to push it off a cliff.

I wish Miatas didn't have the trendy internet hype that's been surrounding them lately, causing them to fall into the wrong hands.

    That and oil leaks.

Have you checked the rubber bands that keep the exhaust in place?

There are only a few places where the Miata will leak. The CAS o-ring, the crank seal and the main seal. Get them replaced = no more leaks!

Forgetting the cam seals and valve cover gasket.
