Most of us are just getting back and trying to unwind. I am soooo beat and burned up. I want to take a shower but can barely move.

Just got home. So tired. Had a fun time running home. Had a great time being out at Lakeland with everyone. I want to make a big THANK YOU to all volunteers who made this happen so smoothly.

Golf claps all round to all organizers and volunteers.
Job well done, guys and gals.

I've never seen so many little rice burners in one spot and all of them cool looking.
    Wicked.

Thanks for a great event! I met and got to talk to several real nice folks. I hooked up with the Miami/southeast coast caravan and we had a real nice run. I think everyone made it unscathed, more or less, despite truck tire tread debris going airborn on SR60. I got to test my ABS brake system on US98 during an unexpected short stop. The ABS worked great - the car remained perfectly straight and stable. I sold a couple of unused items, so my lunch and about half a tank of gas were covered. I didn't get a chance to see all of the cars - there were so many!

The highlight had to be the opening remarks by Jay Leno. Thanks everyone!

Here are some shots of the Miami Caravan at a stop along SR 60:

We had a great time yesterday. It was the first one I was able to go to, and even then, my boss was trying to get me to work, but I said hell no. All four of us had a blast, the weather was great, the cars were great, all the people were excellent (except for one idiot that did a burnout in the parking lot), and the dude with the 815hp drag Miata was cool and funny as hell!

And to Randy, Ron, Gavin and the rest of the MiataPalooza Gang, you guys did an excellent job and pulled off a great show. Everything seemed to run smoothly and as planned, everyone was happy and had a great time. THANK YOU GUYS for all of your hard work and dedication to a wonderful show! You guys even managed to grace us with excellent weather! How did you manage that?! LOL

I had all the intentions to take a bunch of pictures, had my camera with me and everything, yet never used the darn thing. I was so busy oogling all the great cars, I only managed to get about six pictures with my phone...

Sorry the quality of this one. I had the digital zoom up a bit...

    This car was fun!

And I just had to get me one of these. Plus part of the money goes to a good cause!

Huge kudos to Randy and EVERYONE that VOLUNTEERED! Everyone should remember this was a FREE event that was coordinated by volunteers under the direction of our fearless leader Phatmiata (Randy). All for the love of Miatas! 126_2673.jpg126_2681.jpg126_2680.jpg126_2679.jpg126_2678.jpg126_2677.jpg126_2676.jpg126_2675.jpg126_2674.jpg126_2682.jpg
