    1993 NA6 From Europe

Well, where should I start? I have this car since 2007 (My first paid car) and went through several stages. From different set of wheels, to different set of coilovers. I tracked the car a lot through several circuits and in 2011 I returned it to stock in order to change it. My first option was an S2000. In the end, I kept the Mx-5 in the garage avoiding add it for sale on the internet, the time went by and in the end I did not buy the S2000 but instead built a track car and kept the mx-5. So, here it is the car right now.

    Current mods:

    - New Bushes all around
    - Racing Beat Tubular Front Sway
    - De-Cat
    - Enkei RPF1
    - Toyo 888 185-60-14
    - Oem Front/Rear Lip
    - New Paint
    - New Hood

In the future maybe a proper suspension set up and maybe another engine.

    Spot welding on the way...

    Can΄t recomend it enought.

And then a pallet arrived with a BP4W on it!

So I bought a lot of service parts...

    - Water Pump
    - Oil Filter
    - Gaskets
    - Belts
    - Timing Belt /Tensioners
    - Head Gasket (Just to be sure)
    - Head Bolts

And the head will also be skimmed to gain a litle CR and will be as well ported.

    Nice car!

Can you please comment on the R888? I want to use them on my stock 14" wheels, but I could not find any comments about the 185/60/14 size.

IIRC Brainstorm (could have been someone else) made it way back when and they're fairly rare from what I understand. Revlimiter has a write up about it on his blog.

Link to the most lack-luster build in MR history

    Hello there,

I don’t know which use you intend for your car. But for Trackdays (30 min sessions) I would choose another maker. Booth in Medium compound the 888 start to overheat after 15 min in a 3 mile track, where the Yokohama A048 keeps griping. And when overheated the 888 stars do wear really quick . If you use the car for the occasional blast around mountain roads and a few auto-x and the lot I think they are really good. Grippy from cold, hard tyre wall (not as good as the Yokohama) and in general a good feeling.

    ;)

Nitto NT 01 are supposed to be the best all around track day tire. 205 50 15 is a good choice.
