    Honda K24 Swapped Miata

Startup of the world's first K series Miata. TSX motor (k24a2) with adapter plate to Miata trans, and an intake manifold adapter plate to run an S2000 manifold. Lots more to come for this car...

This is a pretty ingenious swap, one of my local friends is trying to do a K20a2 into his 99 Miata. There are a lot of performance upgrades for these motors, and 200hp on a stock motor is pretty nuts for a Miata to have! Just imagine this setup with a turbo!

Oh my god, those TSX motors are NASTY, more torques than the K20's but the same horsie powers... amazing swap!

Wouldn't an S2000 engine be a better deal?

I used to daily a Honda Element which has the same motor in it. The Element was surprisingly quick for a big huge ugly thing.

A buddy of mine drives a TSX and it can get up and go. That fact it's a manual only adds to it's cool factor.

    I hate hondas.. I do. I'm prejudice.

So it hurts me to even say this. But a 220hp stripped EG ruined me in my FD a few months back.

So now I hate them even more

I'm definitely up for this swap. My Miata has 200k on the stock 1.6, and it's definitely on the way out. I could care less about the Honda stigma, I'm just interested in making 200hp+ easily and reliably. Time to start saving my pennies

Hard to argue with the performance of a built B18. It takes retarded amounts of money to make a B6 or BP achieve stock B18 power levels.

If you think B-series performance capabilities are impressive, K-series blows it out of the water in everyway.

Cool! Wouldn't be my first choice for a motor swap, but still really cool!

That would be a good idea if you wanted to drive in backwards a 100mph, or have to swap out the entire drivetrain... all Honda motors before K-series spin backwards compared to everyother motor in the world... LOL... they do make sick power tho...
