Group Buy : Nielex Racing Shorty Console **REV9**

    Heya everybody!

During my trip in Japan, I saw an unreleased item by Nielex and asked them if they would like to offer it to the public. The Shorty Console was first made because the Nielex president wanted to show the beautiful look of their Joystick but also because he did not like the look of rubber shift boot. At first, they said it was a one-off item and there would be no need to work on it. But I basically convinced them to give it a shot, but we need at least 5 orders to make it happen.

Basically, it is a very nice minimalistic shorty console made of aluminum that’s anodized black and comes with a polished ring that looks awesome. Power windows equipped vehicles can get the optional relocating plate in 2DIN version. Below is one picture of the item, more pictures are included in bottom of post link:

    Included items:
-Nielex Shorty Console in BLACK anodized with chrome ring
-Bottom plate to hide opening in radio console
    -Bolts shown in picture

    Optional items:
    -OEM rubber boot
-Aluminum 2DIN power window relocator (1DIN hole can be made for radio and/or 52mm for gauge(s))

    Discounted additional items:
    -Nielex Handbrake cover (polished)
    -Nielex Joystick (short shift kit)
    -Nielex Shift Knob (all versions)
    -JoyFast Leather Handbrake Handle
    -JoyFast Handbrake Button

DIY requirements: With this console, only 1 thing needs to be done to make it fit, it’s to trim a little the bottom of the edge of the radio console (instructions will be provided to do it).

    Retail : $299.99 + shipping
    Price (5 orders) : $274.99 + shipping
    Price (10 orders) : $249.99 + shipping

Wow, that is nice. Wish I had a NA to put one in. Since I more into the look of a race car, I would ditch the center console for one in a heart beat.

I guess I'll just have to buy an NA as well now!

I'm interested!! If you can get me a couple more photos? Also will they be selling the Short Shift kit again with the weighted Brass Shift ball?

there are pics in the 2nd to last roadster hyperrev (vol. 149) of it. Pretty nice piece, I assumed at the time I saw it in hyperrev that it was a custom job.
