RIP man, sad situation..... It's completely theoretical but I wonder if his car backfired when he revved it in the cops drive-way and that sound was mistaken for gunfire....

I met Ben at the project g meet this past year. I was surprised at how down to earth and friendly he was to a broke teenager like me. We must have talked for a decent 5 minutes with him never bringing business into the conversation. He was a genuine person that I would be honored to have considered a friend. RIP Ben.

That is what I assumed happened. They say he revved the engine and the gun shots went off. Sound like a backfire to me or a two-step control. Subaru are known for there loud backfire. I shouldn't have accused the officer the way I did though. I just jumped off the deep end and I shouldn't have. I just can't believe he gone. His products are some of the best out there.

Im glad stickers were brought up, I'm definitely interested in some stickers to put on my car in memory of such a stand up guy. Whether they are boss performance stickers or something saying "in memory of Ben Ellett". I'm sure others would be interested as well.

This is such a tragedy, when I read about it on FB I couldn't (didn't want to) believe it was him. I met Ben last year at Pro-G like many of you and we chatted through IG untill the BPF when up that's were we really started to become friends, turns out he grew up where I live and knew some folks I know now. He made me a mod on his forum and further show me what a selfless person he was when anyone needed a hand. He was a visionary and had big plans for his growing company. My heart goes out to his family his girl his pup Zelda and everyone who knew him. RIP BEN! #BPgang

That's really cool that you are doing that, Project-G and MazdaRoadster is looking at doing a donation fund for Ben's mom to help pay for the funeral costs. I should have more info this week.

I never had the chance to talk to him, but he seemed really nice. The story seems so muddled...
