Thanks guys! I like to have fun with the car. It's a bit of a duality for me; on one hand I've built the car to be very conservative, tasteful, and retro inspired using very specific parts and methods. I've tried to preserve the car's age and take pride in it being my daily driver (40 miles round trip, every day, with all sorts of evening and weekend driving thrown in). However, I have a tough time being a very serious guy. I love Halloween and I'd much rather have folks smile in my presence than to leave thinking about what a 'try hard, type-A' I am. And so I'll occasionally play around and have a little fun at my own expense by poking fun at how much of a literal character the Miata NA is.

And, I didn't even know there was a Mazda Miata FB page (though this doesn't surprise me). Got a direct link ('cause I know there's likely to be billions of them out there).
