Jeez, Driver. I'm willing to wager that your date is at least ten years younger than you. ;) Anyway, I dropped Soledad off at the body shop for a nice two week stay to get the rust that's beginning to peek through the drivers' side wheel arch cleaned out.

Well, that's it for me! I'm off to PR!

Just bought her. New battery, oil change, auto trans fluid change, brakes (pads only). Had her up on the lift - she is in good shape, but suspension is pretty warn.

I do the same from time to time over the winter. I love the smell of the car, when you don't use it every day.

    I fixed an interior rattle.

This extremely annoying, high pitched rattle started a few weeks ago. Between 3000 and 3200, no matter what gear or if I was accelerating or decelerating. And RIGHT in my face. I thought it was coming from the gauge area. It sounded like it. So I took Sharka apart piece by piece and test drove after every small bit. Finally, I had the gauges completely out and the rattle was still happening. I was sitting in my driveway revving while trying to find a rattle in the dash.

Then I disconnected my steering wheel for grins and the rattle stopped. Long story short, it was the horn button rattling against its own housing.

I swapped out the horn button and life is good.
