I gotta agree with everyone, this is the worst time to buy Hardtops. The rainy days are coming and people do tend to keep Hardtops until summer or at least when someones engine breaks and need $$$ for a replacement. There's a few hardtops for sale in Norcal since it only rained twice. They might be willing to ship, but if it starts raining here everyday then good luck. I used to see HT go for $650 during the summer, but now it's starting to go up to $1000+.

Not a chance to find one that cheap, here in CO.

OP, HT's are hard to find here in CO, but this time of the year is virtually impossible. Craigslist is your best friend, no bones about it. Welcome to MR.Net!

    BTW, where in CO?

I found my first HT in late fall in the PNW (later traded it for a color matching one). Cost me roughly $800. If you're patient, you can find one in good shape for under $1,000.

Not in CO, he won't, unless its sold by a friend..

This area is not just cold, but there is a lot of Miata racing going on.

I haven't seen a hardtop go for less than $1000 in a very long time. I was just lucky enough to find a seller who needed fast cash.
