I painted mine with a plastic paint and prep it well with plastic paint adhesive. So far so good.

I ordered custom seat covers from Threads & Stiches, the overseas shop posted earlier in the thread. Sent the order on April 25th and DHL attempted delivery on May 5th. Routed them to my work address (signature required) and got them today.

They look great. Definitely not an amateur effort.

I've got two sets of the different black guides coming from MX5-UK. Looking for the lower plastics locally.

    Boy, am I getting confused.

Can anyone tell me the part numbers for ALL of the black plastic pieces needed for both the top of the seat AND the bottom of the headrest?

I bought a set of old tan leather '95 seats and have the purchased all of the black pieces I need except for those described above.

    Thanks!!!

Who are threads and Stiches? I couldn't find that earlier in the thread.

Interior-Innovations.com are a Division of Threads and Stitches LLC
Sounds like the "go to" supplier at the moment.

I don't know for sure. But just in case I ordered four of everything except the actual "pole". I suspect I'll have some leftover parts.

Do you happen to know the part numbers of all the parts you ordered? I would be willing to order four of everything, too, just to make sure that I have what I need.

    Thanks!

Try IL Motorsports out of Germany, they also have a US website. They might be able to source the black receivers since they get OE Mazda parts.

I received mine today (took about 10 days to receive). One question: I don't see any provisions for hog rings/zip-ties. There are no holes on the outside and for the inside there is a rigid plastic strip where the hog rings will attach to the foam. There are also no holes for the headrests.
Am I supposed to cut the holes myself?

IL Motorsports has two of one, and one of another style in stock. When I asked for them to source more, they referred me to MX5parts, their sister company in the UK.
