I've got the car painted now, but it's not fully back together yet. As I mentioned before I'm not going to install the PitCrew front until I get the matching rear. But I had to have a look.So I finished smoothing out the nose and painted it. I've just sat it on the car for these photos and used photoshop to blend the join. Can't wait until the rear arrives!

That looks great! What color did you choose? Is it a solid or metallic?

Thanks! It's RAL 7022 Umbragrau from the European RAL colour chart. It's solid, not metallic

I'm not sure about that rear deck lid. Kinda looks like one of Agent Orange's girls sat on it

Nice one on the transformation. I like the style so far.

It's odd to think my pitcrew front went on a car from Japan as a import to New Zealand and then ended up in a breakers before being shipped here to the UK.

Likewise your Pitcrew looks similar to mine before the pitcrew rear was fitted as I ran the same bootlid, rear light set up but had the shorty bumper on.

    keep up the good work.

Today I had the Clubman out for it's first drive. My excuse is that I had to get a bezel for the new alarm LED. The LED the alarm came with was blue and so bright it lit the whole garage. Put a dim red one in instead. So I took some snaps while I was out and about.
There's still some stuff to do: it's looking like it could use a detail but most noticibly the 95M seats aren't done yet. Started getting them ready to dye, but didn't like how the leather was looking so gave up and ordered some Interior-Innovations covers as seen here. So, a photodump of what it looked like today.
    I love the colours!

Great job mate well done! I personally wouldn't change the nose to Pitcrew, once you change the body, it wont be a classic MX5. But that's my opinion. Your current setup is a dream ride. Proud of you for doing all this in no time, only in straya mate!
