    LOL at this.

Still not registered or insured but I did install the Jet Stream headlights and am glad I made the switch. Now I got to figure out what bulbs to use and how to get them in with the new aluminum catch can.

Next up is trying to get the Maxxis 245's on our 10's to fit without messing stuff up too badly. After seeing those on Buttercup I really want to do it on an NA without going widebody or flares. May have to stiffen up the suspension to get it working without rubbing (no innuendo intended)

Finish Deviate, our exotic K20A2 NA build. Build thread on miataturbo.net
-Get some video on track and in the canyons then sell it

Install a C30-94 Rotrex from Jackson Racing in Buttercup along with the 15x10's and 245/40 VR1's
    -Daily it

Set up the Quaife Sequential in Taxi with the 185whp 2.0L Whammy engine.
-Daily it for a while with the Quaife then switch back to an AZ-6

Finish OGK, our windshield-less maximum effort race car build. Build thread on miataturbo.net
    -Break every lap record possible

picking up the port and polished head this afternoon, already purchased Tomei exhaust camshaft and complete valvetrain. Need to buy Tomei VVT intake camshaft and Supertech bucket lifters.

Special thanks to 949 racing for dropping price on VVT intake camshaft.

    Plans, Plans, Plans....

I'm too new here. I need to shed light on the secrets I've been keeping.

1990 NA Miata. Bought with 60k on the clock. Completely stock.
    Last year's achievements:
    - MiataRoadster Short Shifter
    - Enkei RPF1's (14x7 +28)
    - Flyin' Miata Frame Rails
    - Magnecor 85mm Spark Plug Leads
    - Jenvey ITBs, Piper Cams, Maxim Works Header, Racing Beat Power Pulse Connecting Pipe and Exhaust
    - Megasquirt II
    - Suzuki Cappuccino Washer Bottle (from my first car. Yes. I owned a Cappuccino, let's not go there
    - Joyfast Super Short shift knob (you have no idea)
    - Clearwater Headrest Speakers
    - Nardi Deep Corn Leather Steering Wheel (330mm)

    So this year:
    - OS Giken LSD
    - Nakamae Type R seats
    - FM Happy Meal Clutch & Flywheel - got but not IN the car (where it should be)
    - Door Speakers (the old ones have been ripped out in prep)
    - FM Butterfly Brace (got, but not on)
    - Swap the 330mm Nardi Deep Corn for a Nardi Classico 340mm or 360mm Wooden Wheel
    - Wooden KG Works Cluster (as soon as they get more in)
    - Custom Gauges from Adam (Finished and in the post. Stop it. I'm not telling.) - Still need to paint my needles Red and get Needle Caps.
    - Convert interior to mostly Tan rather than boring black.

And if money allows, a full respray in factory red. But with a clear coat this time.....

Not something to do TO my Miata per say, but also start a damn build thread to share what little I've learned...

Install the parts I have -> Not even close, pile keeps getting bigger
Install rollbar -> CADed my own design of a double hoop, went through FEA and fancy engineer shit, got no time to actually build it. 99% secured a TR Lane one though.
Finish the suspension setup I have in mind -> Lots of calcs, damping curves, parts quotes, nothing actually done though
Wheels -> Well....bought two sets, sold the 1st one, installed the 2nd. Need restoration/repainting though.
Paintwork (maybe full respray, we shall see) -> Full respray on the works, due to a minor freak accident. Most probably after March though
Finish interior...at least V1 -> Getting close, purchased some awesome parts but still a shitload to do.
Decide on forced induction -> Got a KW Rotrex kit (thanks Randy!), need to sort out clutch, engine refreshing and engine management before installation
Collect even more parts -> This is going REALLY well!!!!
Lots of DIYing and driving -> This went fairly well too!
Fuck. Guess I got distracted in the way. Happy new year to the awesomest forum/community on the planet!

    For 2017:
A helmet, previous is out of date, and Mechanix vented gloves
Finish cutting out my rear bumper, because racecar.
OEM style E-code headlights, since I removed the ancient LED fogs
    Replace Throwout & Pilot bearings
Clutch & flywheel that came with the car
    FM Little Big Brake kit
Find and fix the small oil leak
Keep the interior clean and wash it once in a while

I think that's reasonable for a year's worth of plans. My tires aren't competitive but could last the whole year... my wheels are cheap junk but they'll probably stay for now as well. Hopefully the LBBK won't be overkill for non-ABS and all-season sport tires. Happy New Year!

So, going off memory and not a checklist, I think I did ok. Even with the house rearing its ugly head on me.

Installed or changed this year: going from most resent to the earliest. Backward timeline.

Radiator cap and top clamp for the coolant leak, Yeah, fixed!

A lot of parts ordered over Christmas and prior. More work for me.

Some parts on back-order. Shandelle will let me know.

    Some installed this year.

Type 1 "street" (only because the new Spec has double uprights, a second horizontal door bar. And {IFRC} a diagonal in the roof). Spec-Miata roll cage (bolt in vers.) from Bethania Garage.

Frog arms, V-8 rails, Feal 441 Race 12/8Ks, rear diff swap., Wheel swap to the Hyper-grams. Rear sway delete. Hardtop permanent hardware. And Mirrad seat with ^-point to be installed soon.

    Let keep pushing ourselves, gang!

    Peace!
    ... Rick

    Oh, the irony.

Instead of rebuilding my 1.6, I got a 1.8 VVT.

Instead of going FI, I got a set of Jenveys.

Plans for 2017: Just slap everything on the car and drive it, I have missed it.
