I'm starting to think the person who installed the M45 on mine it came with originally did yours as well. It too had piss-poor soldering of some wiring (I had the connection for the narrow band AFR come loose on a trip with the wife). Plus they used speaker wire for some areas where they needed a longer run.
Hopefully that dipstick isn't broken too far down for you to use. Can't wait to see how it looks with that Project G top.
