    Unhappy trunk wont close

    my trunk will not close had to use bungee cord,please any tricks to this? thanks

    Is the trunk aligned properly? Is the latch aligned with the striker? Did the striker somehow get into the closed position? Try using your key to "Unlock" the striker mechanism, while closing the lid.

    Also check in console where the trunk release is you might have something jammed up under that trigger switch

    My MSM has factory electric truck opener and lately it been jamming up. The actuator that opened the truck should pull shut and release, but mine not releasing. It hanging up and you might be having the same issue. To free it, use the key, just turn the opposite way to pop it back out and you should be find. I think it because of the cold weather.

    maybe some white lithium grease would be useful

    That is what I thought. I ran into this issue Monday and figure out what is causing it Tuesday. So I haven't had time to find a solution to it.

    thanks guys,i played around with it for a bit, now it shuts and opens fine,just that one night i coulnt figure it out,bungee cord saved me,thanks
