    eBay Exhaust Setup Opinions

So I've been thinking about this setup for some time now.. I've seen some feedback and sound clippings from just the exhaust and midpipe and only heard good things.. Has anyone here had experience with this setup? Thanks!

Is there a soundclip out there somewhere? I feel like it'd be too loud. Plus it's $100 more than it would be for the ebay setup for just exhaust and midpipe.

The headers are nice, they'll just need to have the holes drilled out a bit to fit properly (I had the same one on my 1.6).

I had one on my MSM and loved it, after 500 miles it settled in and had a nice smooth cadence! Plus they are handmade right here in the SUSA!!

The bad about eBay stuff, it cheap, really cheap. I give it 6 months and it will start cracking and falling apart. Find yourself a decent header (prefer non eBay, look into used) and have a custom exhaust made. You can have one done for about the same amount of dough.

No way, maybe better quality, etc. But no way the same cost.

I had the exhaust done on my 93. it was header back, We used a cheap/standard replaceable muffler and built a system from the header back for abut $235 before taxes and no cat. Now this wasn't tig welding nor was it completely chromed up, this was just the basic and a styled tip at the end. Piping was bent into place and everything mig welded. The problem is that is normal/advertised 4 bay exhaust shops will do so for about 300-400 bucks and it will be from the cat back. BUT if you can find the back woods exhaust shop, the small two guy operation, the guys who actually know what they are doing, then you have a real muffler shop.

    ^ that times 1000000000.

I had my 2.25" midpipe custom made with a new cat, bung and resonator, it was cheaper that anything bolton available and they did it exactly how I wanted it.

A few years ago, I had a custom turbo back system made for my NA. Mandrel bent, 2.5" tubing, SS. I brought them the turbo flange, muffler, bullet and tip. Altogether it was about $400, one flange before and after the cat. Perfect fit. The downpipe was perfect.
