My core support on my NA is going to be cut out, so the mounting location that rev is talking about is what I am looking for. ...........

Car was wrecked, and damaged core support will be replaced with a tube support.

Here is a pic of my CF hood.



I bought the hood used which already had the latches. I drilled holes for the pins to where it would align to the latches.

Here are the pins on a lighter colored car. Having used other pins in the past, Aerocatch units are incredibly sturdy and solid. 0 play, and even if you forgot to latch the hood, it is a 2 stage locking system, even if not fully locked, the pin is still through bolt. Takes a little bit of "unf" to open the latch all the way if you have installed it perfectly.
