Thank you all for the warm welcomes! I am very excited to join the community, and really enjoy the car.

Alex, meet Phat (Randy). Randy was the previous owner of the car. I had the pleasure of meeting him when I flew one-way to Tampa, FL and drove the car home. If you have any questions about the car's history prior to my ownership, he's the one to ask. He's also the owner of this forum and hoarder of rare JDM stuff so if you're looking for something specific he probably already has 2 or 3...or can help you get it.

Make sure to get me the dates for this ASAP. I'm likely to be out of town on business some time in the end of Oct!
Thanks for the introduction, Steve. I will certainly do my best to tastefully continue to evolve the car into something special.

Hahaha trust me... I feel the pressure.

Wow! Very cool. This is what I love about custom cars. (Especially classic ones) They inspire and carry a story much like a person. Many have used the word here that best describes this sort of experience over just going to a dealer and buying a Camry.. Its an adoption; not a purchase.

Give me the address and I will see what I can do! I'm on the Ft Worth side and just moved here.

Why yes it is! I haven't done much track work, but still love light, balanced cars on street. However, I don't get a rush anywhere else like I do going offroad/rallying. This was on my honeymoon, where my new wife and I took this out for about 8 hours, tearing up the Wyoming trails. I'm really glad they didn't have a tracker on that thing because if they saw my average speeds they would have seriously regretted letting me rent that.

Why thank you sir. Between you and Steve, it's become extremely hard to find anything to modify on the car.

Very cool! I was pretty impressed by it, and have heard the RZR's are great too.

Oh great! I actually live near a red NA Miata with a Euro style front plate that says Eunos Roadster if I remember right. Is that you?

I understand the mirrors and fuel lid are OEM... (he says, as he eyes Rooster's mirrors from across the office)

Yeah, those were gone before I ever saw the for sale thread! With piranhas like that, its a wonder I didn't end up with a Miata Superleggera before I got my hands on it.

I actually really warmed up to these lights. No one even knows what kind of car this is because of them.

    Welcome to the forum.
This car is one of my all time favorite American Roadsters. Congratulations for taking over the custodianship of this landmark car. Please keep posting pictures of it, as I am eagerly waiting for fresh news of its evolution.
