I can count how many f20 miatas there are in one hand.
    They don't go backwards ;)

F20c is a good engine to throw on and keep stock.
K24 is the better one to throw in if you want even bigger power n torque.

    Yeah.
Honda's heads flow more air stock that a heavily ported miata head would achieve lol. It's ridicules.
Honda engines are really something else. That's why I wish Mazda actually did more R&D after the initial 1.6 engine. 116hp out of a 1.6 in 1989 = semi good performance.
130 hp out of a 1.8 in 1995 = even shitty Honda SOHC engines could deliver that.

I can't wait to see what they did about power steering rack location , geometry with this swap.

Even then it wouldn't really be a good idea. The K-series is a step above the F20/22C in almost every way. At 240 bhp OEM, the F-series is pretty highly optimized, the K-series has higher limits.

I drive a POS SOHC Honda Concerto (European version of the Civic). It has been beaten to death, stumbles on occasion and still makes more power than my 1.6

There has to be some kind of upgrade for the Miata, does the 2.0L Escort engine swap in?

Ive been seeing your progress and this is a great idea! Glad to see someone actually making swaps like this happen...
Your swap gave me an idea as well..

Since you're planning on making this a complete kit in the future I was wondering if you would be willing to sell just the flywheel and trans adapter as a kit..

That would be great for the fwd mazdas (323 Protege Mx3 Escort GT)...All mazda B series use the same bell housing and seeing as 3 of the 4 mounts on those cars are attached to the trans, only the post mount on the pass side of the car would need to be fabricated and an adapter plate to bolt the fwd BP half shaft to the K block.. hell it could even work on mazdaspeed proteges if using a BP g series trans.

just a thought that could open ur market a bit wider
